Edges of roads degraded, 27th April
The edges of the roads are severely degraded along the length of the road although it is particularly bad as you leave Markyate. the road is not wide and cars have to pull to the edge of the road to pass. This is very difficult due to the state of the road and is making the roasd almost impassable and damage to vehicles likely.

Blocked Drainage, damaged verge, flooded entrance, 29th March
This has been a consistent problem for several years. It has been made significantly worse by the building work and HGV traffic. As you can see in the photos these were taken on a dry day - It had been dry for around 3 days prior to these photos. The entrance to the scout hut is completely blocked and flooded and all the kids have to jump a puddle to attend the scout hut. There doesn't seem to be any drainage installed. The verge is soft and tracks mud everywhere. It is dangerous trying to get in and out of the scout hut. Scout Trustees have tried to clean and sweep away the debris and water, it just returns each time it rains.

This van is constantly parking right on the edge of the junction making it dangerous for people who are leaving the parkfield turning, on to buckwood road, visibility is poor turning left as you can now see round it and turning right you have to endanger yourself by pulling out to be able to see if it is safe to continue right.
