Road resurfacing Required, 23rd April
A large section of tarmac has been pulled away, in the region of 10 square meters. The lower layer has no grip and is on the approach to a roundabout. There is a serious danger to this part of the road for all road users and cyclists. It’s down hill and cyclists do use the road. It’s now at a point where road resurfacing makes more sense than filling a pot hole.

Abandoned van in Tithe Barn close adjacent to number 26, 2nd April
Van has been parked and no one has been near it for 3 weeks now. We are not allowed trade vehicles per our house deeds, so this is unusual. We are a close community in Tithe Barn Close and no one seems to know about this vehicle.. A note has been left on the windscreen asking for it to be moved, but no joy.

Two blocked storm drains, 11th February
Two street/storm drains are blocked on St Stephens Hill, on the left hand side of the road going uphill, one opposite Trevelyan Place and another a little further up, both next to the pavement. The drains have been blocked for several months, at least from September 2023. Many thanks for your work.

Tree on pavement, 11th February
For two days there is a tree on the pavement, making the pavement unusable. I am a wheelchair user with a motor attachment. I cannot use the pavement anyways as it’s simply too dangerous to use when going downhill. Uphill I kind of have to as I am too slow. But now I can’t even do this anymore due to the tree.

Cycle path not usable, 11th February
When coming out of St Albans and going to ‘Chiswell Green’ the cycle path is simply not usable anymore. There is a MASSIVE hole in it, followed by a huge bump. This means you have to use the road. As all of us should help to use environment friendly alternatives, fix that road.

Light at pedestrian crossing at the scout hut broken, 11th February
The pedestrian crossing at the scout hut is broken now for several weeks. Not just the street light but also the traffic signs are affected. Crossing the road is now really dangerous! Children are crossing there regularly.
