Car has been here for over a week and not moved once., 9th April
The council are coming to drop the kerb at the back of my property and they are not able to do this as the car is in the way. I also have a skip that needs picking up and they can't collect as the car is blocking the access route.

Parked at n double yellow, blocking the road, 19th March
Parked on a double yellow blocking a temporary traffic light. With no passage. I have told the driver he can’t park there but simply ignored and left his car. I’m no stuck as I’m on way to pick the kids from school.

Opposite house 330 Hatfield road, 18th March
Drain cover is moving and has broken concrete around it. It has been like this for approximately 1 month and is making a very loud noise when cars drive over it. This is a very busy A road with cars day and night. It may result in an accident if the drain cover flips up. Please can it be fixed. Thank you.

Disgraceful mess, 6th March
Number 24 kingsmead runs a property maintenance company from his house. Continuously blocks pavement for building peoples gates etc. uses power tools all day with leads across pavement. Always has rubbish around and loose screws and nails. He has set his gutter from his shed to discharge water onto the footpath making it dangerous. Fence is partially blocking footpath. Random pieces of wood in unlit alley beside house people keep tripping on. Tried speaking to him but he’s a nightmare. These photos show it in its tidy state. Happy to provide kore if required.

Zebra crossing markings on road barely visible, 4th March
Zebra crossing markings on the road are barely visible whjich means that drivers may fail to see it in good time. This is a busy crossing, used by schoolchildren. It has been previously reported to Hers CC but no action has been taken.

Traffic light phasing problem, 2nd March
Big traffic queue coming from Clarence Road onto junction with Hatfield Road & Stanhope Road. Green light only on for about 20 seconds, getting about six cars through each time. Not normally a problem here. It was the same on the way back, with a long green light coming down Hatfield Road from St Albans towards Hatfield.

Drain blocked again between footbridge and path, 29th February
There is an acco drain across the path under this puddle. Where the bridge meets the path on the west side of the railway. Earlier the puddle was the full width of the path and over 3m wide. It’s now just about jumpable but a couple of inches deep in the middle. The leaves were cleared from the path in autumn eventually but the drain is choc full of mud so the water can’t go anywhere.
