Street light in alley away between Holdback Road and Winterswyk. Avenue has not been working for a couple of years been reported to Essex highways along time ago but no joy. know light are being with changed to LED . this a danger at night for females and also drug deals get done there to. because of the darkness.

Gritter van driving, 1st December
I was driving down the seafront on canvey island, it was around 3pm, gritters are out to grit the roads. However, a gritter driver drove past doing 45-50mph from the opposite direction and where he is travelling so fast the grit is being flung out at such a speed that I have now got cracks all over my windscreen.

There are now more that half a dozen large potholes (more that 12” wide and >2” deep on both sides of the road, 1st June
This issue has been in place for over 3 months with more potholes appearing. if two cars traveling in opposite directions cross at the same point and swerve in opposite directions to avoid hitting their respective potholes it will end up with a crash. I have been in and been witness to multiple near misses - often Exacerbated when bicycles or powered e scooters are involved.
