50 cm pothole on Dawes Heath Road, 16th April
I nearly hit this pothole whilst cycling down from the brow of the hill, towards the Woodman's roundabout, about a month ago. It is right in a cyclist's path & situated between Napier Gardens & Tollgate turnings. Luckily, there was no vehicle behind me so I was able to swerve to avoid it. I took photos last weekend as it is still there.

Cars blocking pavement., 6th March
Poor planning from council with sufficient parking has caused people to park up on the pavement. The roads are not wide enough for cars to park either side at the same time this causes some to park up on pavement leaving little room for buggies and wheelchairs. Homeowners park on their drive and then have additional cars or vans in front of house on pavement.

Cars parking on pavement whilst young children walk to school, 6th March
Parents are constantly parking on the pavement for drop off pick up. This is leaving little room for children and buggies to walk past, cars running whilst stationary with exhausts fumes going in children’s faces and parents are driving on and off kerb with children walking still. Worried a child won’t be seen and will be knocked over.
A fence or bollards should be placed on pavement to keep people safe.

Cars parking on pavement. Bad planning of new houses, 6th March
Cars are often parked on pavement outside houses. This is due to not enough large parking space being in place when planning was agreed. Maybe two smaller cars could fit but not larger cars and when a third is added, this is blocking pavement. Pushing these cars to other residents streets is not fair on residents and blocks other roads.

Huge pothole, 13th February
The pothole has been there for a couple months and it’s getting bigger by the day. It must be at least 6 inches deep and about 18 inches wide. You cannot drive over it and have to wait for the traffic to pass on the other side of the road in order to drive around it. It’s right next to the kerb so extremely dangerous for cyclists coming back from the country park.
