Hi there. The post lamp is placed in the middle of my driveway and right in front of my bedroom. The light is beaming in the window and I also lose one parking space because of the post, I always struggle to find a car park in the evening for my 2nd car. We would council to come and inspect. We just want the post lamp the be moved in between the 2 driveways to be able to use the 2nd parking space on my driveway. Thank you indeed Ionut Susnea

Over 20 in some places, 11th March

Mon, 11 Mar 2024 18:19:20 +0000

Dangerous pot holes on both sides of the A13 between Basildon and Pitsea. There are at least 10-20 potholes on both sides of the road. It is possibly the worst condition dual carriage I have ever seen, and a miracle that someone has not been injured. This must be causing substantial damage to peoples vehicles, and is frankly disgusting that it has been in that condition for so long. Personally think people need to start taking collective legal action, as it is beyond unacceptable. Drivers pay enough money in both road tax, and local council tax to not be driving on roads in this condition. It is an embarrassment as a modern country. Maybe this time spend some of the extortionate tax we pay as a country, and actually use a vendor that conducts a repair that lasts. Other countries have far worse weather conditions but better roads. Why? Because they don't get ripped off by poor vendors who conduct awful work, and use premium products to repair their roads. It's not rocket science, you get what you pay for, unless obviously you are a UK car tax payer, in which case you get ripped off. Honestly fix the road. Complete embarrassment.
