The manhole cover in the road outside 33B Cupernham Lane is loose and rattling. Everytime a car drives over it (which is constantly) it makes a very loud noise which is audible indoors. It is getting worse as traffic drives over and shows signs of damage (and in turn increased noise).

Pothole, 6th April
A very large deep pothole has formed at the edge of the road in the left hand lane of the bypass as you head towards the roundabout towards Ower. This is a very dangerous one especially when it rains as it cannot be seen. I think this one is probably an instant tyre bursting pothole. You have to swerve to go round it. Very dangerous.

Pothole/drain sinking, 6th April
Pothole has formed around the drain which is sinking into the road right on the mini roundabout. This has been there for several months and I have reported it several times but it has not been repaired. Please repair asap.

Two long potholes/deep longditudenal ruts, 31st March
These dangerous (especially to cyclists !) hazards have been there now for over 2 or 3 months ! Especially dangerous to cyclists turning left on A3057 after the railway overbridge/mini RAB.

Several potholes, 24th February
Several potholes here as you approach the mini roundabout from Greatbridge Road side. They have been here a while. Please repair. The road surface is now very uneven and people's suspension and tyres will be ruined.

Cyclepath requires sweeping, 3rd January
The cyclepath alongside the A27 Southampton Road has not been swept since the annual leaf fall. If no action is taken the build up will eventually reduce the useable width as it has done on the cyclepath from North Baddesley to Rownhams.

Long pothole on Ashfield roundabout, 26th October
There is a long pothole about 4ft long 6" wide, on the Ashfield roundabout on the A27 which is making it unsafe to drive on the roundabout especially for motorbikes and cyclist's.

Lifebelt removed from case and thrown/taken into river, 17th September
There is a lifebelt in the water, appears (from a distance) to have been tied onto a tree overhanging the water. Assume that it came from the lifebelt box in the play area in the memorial park.

Over-grown permissive footpath, 16th September
Permissive footpath between Mill Lane and Priestlands, Romsey, is over-grown with nettles and brambles, which encroach onto the path and dangle down above the path. The path is becoming more difficult to use and hazardous for wheelchair users, adults with children in pushchairs and the many school children that use the path on their way to and from The Romsey School.

Blocked pavement, 12th September
Every night and weekend this vehicle parks here thinking the public pavement is his right of way.. despite there being road spaces and other parking places, they even have a driveway so if tools in van is issue then park the other car away and put the small van on the drive but blocking a pavement is not acceptable for disability users

Traffic light blocked from view, 12th September
As you drive down Winchester Hill, towards the traffic lights .. you can only see the light that directs the traffic Right… not the separate one for drivers going ahead towards town centre as it’s completely obscured by over hanging trees

Path blocked by over grown bushes, 12th September
Between the bus stop at Viney Ave along to Deansfield Close .. the public pathway is practically impassable. Ok for people who are able to step in to the road to get round, or go on the grass to get passed but wheelchair and pushchair users would struggle with this.. does not really encourage people to walk around our lovely town

The bush next to this path has got so out of control that it now hangs right over the path making it difficult to use.. now some people are happy to step in the road to avoid but wheelchair and pushchair users not so much
