Dangerous Parking, 22nd April
There are a lot of vehicles parking on double yellow lines, on both sides of road. They are parking right at the end of the junction of Sayers Road/Fair Oak Road. This is very dangerous, as cars turning into Sayers Road are either forced to immediately overtake them (into the path of vehicles coming head on) or suddenly stop, which will cause a serious accident.

Speed big lorries are travelling at through village centre over speed ramps., 9th April
The Following was message was received from a concerned resident nearby.
There are speed bumps in Summerlands Road between the junction with Fair Oak Road & the roundabout at the end of Brook Road and my main concern is the speed at which the lorries hit the speed ramps. They are not high enough to slow them down but high enough for them to become airborne and land on the other side. The impact causes reverberation that makes our house shake. This is very worrying as cracks have appeared in the house in the last couple of years.
This concerns me as it can only get worse unless something is done. For example, remove the ramps, make them lower so the lorries stay on the ground or impose a lower speed limit. I understand that something is needed to reduce the speed of vehicles as there are many pedestrians in the area but the current ramps are not working at slowing lorries.

Sunken Drain Hole, 9th April
Full square manhole has now sunk inches down. Has to be avoided at the peril of ruining car wheels. Cars swerving around it causing them to enter oncoming traffic or risk loosing their wheels!
