Frost Lane, 2 new pairs of potholes on South side of highway, 16th April
Two new pairs of potholes (total 4) have recently appeared on the South side of the highway, where the road floods, between the Roseberry Avenue junction and the lampost about 15 metres towards the Fawley Road junction. The appear to be where earlier potholes have been patched.
Because the road regularly floods in this area the potholes are often invisible to drivers.

Another new pothole on Frost Lane, 6th March
Yet another pothole has appeared on this short stretch of road that is prone to flooding from defective drains. It appears to be where other potholes were reported and repaired about 3 months ago.
This section of road is currently single-lane (traffic-light controlled for cable-laying on the footway) so the pothole is being subjected to twice the normal level of traffic, including large, heavy lorries using the recommended route to and from Hythe Marine Park.
