At the entry to Pope’s Lane the no through road sign is missing. I have reported this before. The post corroded and fell over and was taken away. After some time and chasing the dangerous ‘stump’ has been removed from the verge. The sign has not been replaced. There is another post adjacent to the old one’s position which has an ‘unsuitable for heavy …..’ sign. The missing one could be fitted to that.

2 large potholes in Popes Lane, Upham, 31st March
There are 2 large potholes outside of Oakhurst, Popes Lane, Upham. They have been there for sometime and are getting larger due to bin lorries and farm vehicles using the road. They will cause damage to other vehicles if not filled in.

Pothole at road edge, 19th December
In Upham Street just past the end of Spring Cottage garden approaching Winchester Road, the edge of the carriageway has broken away leaving a deep pothole. The road is narrow at this point and if a vehicle is coming the other way it is almost impossible to avoid driving into the hole. If it is dark and wet it cannot be seen.

Road is crumbing, 21st November
The road is eroding. Unfortunately opposite overhanging hedging. It also makes it difficult to miss when dark and raining. Either road need fixing or hedges need to be cut back of the highway.
