This is the same drain cover as I reported last month, it has not been fixed to a satisfactory standard. It needs fixing properly as it still bangs when a vehicle drives over it. It is also getting worse as shown by the photograph.

Cover frame broken, 19th April
After green beefing cut the ride on mover caused this damage to cover. This is dangerous as children/dog walkers use this green and could cause harm if tripped over.

Block Surface Water Drains, 29th March

Drove Lane, Alresford - Enquires 21709461 & 9011562, 29th March
Dear Sirs Ref: Drove Lane, Alresford - Enquires 21709461 & 9011562 I write again to seek help in getting the speed of Drove Lane reduced. This time I write after my daughter was involved in a T-bone accident with a car coming down Drove Lane on Wednesday this week as she was just leaving her drive. As warned in my previous request to seek a reduction in the speed of Drove Lane from 40mph to 30mph can confirm that this is really becoming an issue and sadly has involved my daughter. I write this to please please seek to meet with someone to get the speed limit reduced. I am to lodge whatever application I need to alter the speed or have highways consultants advice but crucially I am in the hands of yourselves to get the best advice. Currently my previous two requests have only directed me to highway docs that are about validating why the road is set at 40mph speed which illogical for the reasons previously posted, but sadly we live on this road and again for H&S reasons need to get the speed reduced. Please HELP!!! before a serious incident happens. Kind regards Charles

Manhole cover overflowing, 28th March
I have reported this about 3 times previously and you say it has been attended to on all occasions but as you can see it has not been dealt with as same problem exists. This manhole is outside a water pumping station therefore should be checked in case it has a connection to why this is happening.

This one is soo deep you can actually now see the layers and layers of road surface having been built up over the years. This is the 5th time I’ve given you a nudge to fix this one. It’s beyond a hole now, so big it has its own postcode. What do you reckon you could get it filled in as an early Easter present for all the local drivers please? Fix it now rating 20/10.

2 problems- potholes and road flaws around manhole under the railway bridge, 26th March
The pothole on the southbound carriageway is now wide and deep. The pothole on the northbound carriageway is beside the manhole cover. This has been repaired before: both are difficult to see under the bridge especially in wet weather. Dangerous for cyclists and difficult for drivers

Road surface breaking up under bridge, 22nd March
The road continually deteriorates under the bridge and is constantly being reported. All that happens in someone comes along and chucks some tarmac in the hole and thinks all will be okay. This is ridiculous as the whole area needs a complete resurfacing job right across the area. I have hit the potholes myself and it is not a pleasant experience. You have to watch where you are driving to avoid them and, especially if coming down the hill, this means being distracted from watching for traffic coming in the other direction. I have reported this area before and I notice that several other people have recently done the same. Please put some urgency into doing a proper job this time.

Like a rip in the space time continuum, 21st March
As reported I see by others, this is a big pot hole area. Like it has its own gravitational pull. There are two now, one is collapsing around the man hole that’s right under the bridge, and the other is about 2 feet to the side. It’s all about choice here, which pot hole shall I hit? Because you have to hit one of them. Or just mount the kerb?
The recent road works to the south have made everything here a bit worse. Both holes and the whole road surface around them is deteriorating by the hour.
Fix it now rating 11/10.

Substantial pothole and road degradation, 19th March
Following a "fix" that involved dumping some tarmac into the hole, this pothole has returned. The road around it has degraded to a mess - there is a deep hole and along the line of the road broken surface. The inspection cover on the other side of the road is surrounded by broken road surface. It's a mess. Meanwhile that section of road is closed for gas works further up the road - surely now is the time to fix this properly while the traffic control is in place?
