These potholes are next to the road and are making it dangerous to access the recreation ground car park, tennis courts and preschool. They are deep so cars can bottom out. This is a long term issue as water drains down the road and into the entrance and washes the gravel away causing huge potholes. Please can this be looked into from a drainage issue before the holes are just filled in with more gravel as every time there is heavy rain the holes get deeper as the gravel washes away.

Two potholes, 15th March
Two potholes on left side of road at North End bends (direction to Alresford). About 10m apart. One directly outside a property's drive, other on the blind bend. Both repaired last year but both are rapidly failing again. They are causing vehicles and cyclists to swerve on blind bends.

Flood damage, 15th March
Three areas regularly flood on this stretch of road. The tarmac is now disintegrating badly, causing potholes and large areas of grit debris on the road. Vehicles are forced into the middle of the road which is dangerous to vehicles and cyclists.

Road edge dangerous, 15th March
The verge is receding and the edge of the tarmac road is very pronounced. Vehicles are driving off it as they go round the bend and meet other traffic. It's dangerous and likely damaging tyres and suspension. It has been like this for 5 years, but getting worse.

Risk of damage due to large pothole with straight trailing edge., 23rd February
The previous attempt at a repair at this location has failed resulting in the large pothole here coming back. I hit this (quite literally) last night due to oncoming vehicles and am genuinely surprised I've still got tyres / wheels.
Please come and fix this as a matter of urgency before serious vehicular damage occurs.

Road Errosion and drainage issues, 13th December
Two things. 1. Recently works were undertaken to fix potholes and side-of-road erosion between the A272 and Beauworth. The team doing the work said it was far worse than they expected and added they did not have enough tarmac for the bigger issues only the smaller ones. They fixed the smaller problems but the bigger issues remain and a lot of tarmac needs to go into the sides of the road where it is eroding inwards and leaving a muddy track at the side of the road where this used to be tarmac. 2. There are severe drainage problems along the road which is often flooded with deep water. Maybe another one or two additional drainage holes could be dug to solve the issue.

School painted road markings need repainting, 23rd June
The keep clear school painted markings on the road are too faded and need repainted as soon as possible. Cars and vans are parking on the lines as they are difficult to read causing danger to children, parents, residents and cyclists walking past as there is no pavement.
