There is a giant pothole in the road on old Stockbridge road on which I have heard 2 reports today of people bursting tyres., 2nd January
There is a very deep pothole by a drain in the middle of the road and I have heard of 2 reports in our community Facebook page of people bursting car tyres. I have just been for a dog walk and noticed someone has moved a large plastic barrier (for. Our army patch i believe) and placed over th e pothole. I have no idea if they have reported this but as it is getting darker I am highly concerned this is not legitimate and not safe with no traffic cone lead up. I do not want t one responsible for removing g it either (although to heavy for me alone) as I do not know if there has been an accident with the pit horn and therefore if they were advised to cover it to prevent further accidents.

Massive pothole on junction, 14th December
Heading towards the A343 from the Grateley direction, on the left on the corner is a massive pothole to the side of the road, when it rains this floods and is a severe risk to vehicles turning left if they don't know it's there by damaging wheels.

Awful line markings and studs/cats-eyes, 2nd December
Awful line markings and studs/cats-eyes - on a dark wet evening with spray it was almost impossible to identify the centre lane. The lines are very poor and virtually none of the cats-eyes seems to have any reflectors. This continues all the way south-westwards through Jack’s Bush to the top of the hill (garage/car sales) - and then there’s a huge improvement the moment one passes the county boundary into Wiltshire. Why is their maintenance clearly so much better? The road immediately feels safer to drive at that point!

Damage to verges, 30th November
There is a significant increase in traffic using Broad Road recently, particularly during the morning rush-hour, probably accessing the Army base while the 100 Acre round-about is restricted. There is scaresly sufficient road width for passing, resulting in cars driving onto and damaging the soft verges (& rude signs & bad language!!)

Badly damaged road surface, 6th March
The road surface has become badly damaged by potholes. The worst area is on the junction of the A343 and the grateley road. I have seen cars swerving when they see the damage at as the turn the corner. I think an accident could happen there because of it
