ACTION: There has been a lot of successful engagements that have taken place this month on the topic of Burglary. The Southampton Solent University StudentWatch Scheme have worked in partnership with local Neighbourhood Policing to carry out a burglary study. Surveys were distributed at various community events such as Vaisakhi and 120+ responses were gained. With this information the students have then produced an anti-burglary poster of their own. We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to lock and close all doors and windows when leaving property as this will significantly reduce the risk of opportunist crime.
