Blocked Drain, 5th April
There is a drain that runs under the road that has become blocked and this is causing a constant stream of water to run into the road.
I believe that the drain that runs under the road is totally blocked by tree / green debris from the woods and there is always a huge puddle / flow of water into the road.

Excessive Litter along A404, 1st March
A404 look terrible between Maidenhead and High Wycombe - litter EVERYWHERE not cleared for months. This was the same last year where it basically had litter all along the side dangering wildlife and basically looking awful. The council last time said it was highways agency - on this highways website its says its the council. It spans across two councils?

Litter everywhere, 21st February
The A404 is strewn with litter the whole way from the M4 to the M40. I reported this to the council and they referred it to National Highways saying it was their responsibility. I reported it to National Highways and they said it was a council matter.
We can see the problem! Who will tackle the problem? Can anyone help and give a definitive answer as to who is responsible?

The whole stretch of the A404 from the M3 right up to the M4 is in a terrible state with litter everywhere along the verges. It's embarrassing to see the state which it is being left in. I hope that the council can clean this up - it must be one of the worst roads in the country for litter., 18th February

Litter, 30th January
There is a significant amount of litter on the sides of the carriageway including domestic waste and old roadwork signs/cones etc along the length of the A404. The amount of litter increases year on year and the issue only gets exacerbated once the summer comes and the mowers chop it all up into smaller pieces. I know that flytipping is an issue but this is not what I am reporting. The litter makes the place look like a dump which will only encourage more littering and flytipping. The litter must also be working its way into the river and blocking drains.

Frequent flooding of road - recurring, 4th January
Approaching Hurley from Maidenhead, at the bottom of the hill and just after a corner, the road floods frequently. Attempts were made to remedy this problem 3 to 5 years ago but it is now as bad as ever. After rain a deep flood forms across at least one carriageway of the road and recedes very slowly (over a number of days). Any drain in the road must be blocked and/or inadequate. Thank you for your attention in investigating this issue.

New fence obscuring safety signs, 4th January
A new fence has been erected on the approach into Hurley, the fence is in front of one chevron sign , obscuring it, and requiring another chevron sign with a speed limit to be twisted in line with the fence limiting the visibility of that sign. This is a clear safety issue that needs addressing.

Road jumps that cannot be seen, 7th November
First-time ever on this road. Came off the main road and headed to Burchetts Green. Sunny Day and it was 11:20am. Not aware of any road signs alerting drivers to the substantial ramps in the road. Certainly, the markings on the ramps looked in disrepair and inadequate. Particularly when the position and effect of the sunlight is factored in. Very hard impact as a result causing vehicle damage. Be very careful.
