Very Poor Road Surface at Major Junction, 27th March
This junction gets a lot of traffic for vehicles heading off the A49 at Craven Arms and onwards to Welshpool. The road surface is ripping up badly especially on the section if you are heading south on the A488 towards Bishops Castle. It is very difficult to avoid the pot holes if there is oncoming traffic.

Many large potholes, 25th March
The lane runs from Lower Broughton to Bankshead between SY9 5JN and SY9 5JL. There are many large potholes and the road surface has become very degraded. The road is very narrow so impossible to avoid driving through the potholes. The lower eastern part of this lane has been resurfaced but not the part which is in the worst state. Powys County Council claims it is not their responsibility. Shropshire County Council claims this area is not their responsibility. However on the map it is definitely shown as Shropshire NOT Powys

Large pothole on road infront of drives, 7th March
Pothole has got worse over the last week due to poor weather and tractors. Now causing issues for vehicles using the road but also for the residents whose drives are infront of it.

The white road markings indicating give way have almost eroded off the road making it unclear who has priority

Approx 30 cm pothole wide, depth approx 5cm, 2nd March
The pothole is just on the bend where the Shropshire Way joins the road and opposite the junction to Lower Heblands. It is dangerous for cyclists descending the hill and also quite deep so potentially could cause damage to a car tyre.

Cattle grids need cleaning asap., 28th February
Can someone please clean out the two cattle grids. The one that I have pinned and the 2nd grid that is half way up the road from the first but before you get to the The Hollies. These were reported last year and no one came the customer thinks but they are in real need of a clean due to lambing season.

Damaged, vandalised and broken Roadsigns, 7th February
Signs are broken, vandalised and dangerous. Rusty poles on both, as well as an old rusty pole left in the ground which needs removing. Have been this way for a very long time. Desperately needs replacing.

Dirty broken bus shelter, 7th February
The bus shelter is filthy and broken from years of neglect. It was vandalised years ago and has been left to deteriorate. Passing traffic also cintibutrs to a build up of grime. The shelter is a school bus stop and it is dangerous.

Roadsign down due to rusty poles and collision, 5th February
The roadsign has been damaged and is no longer standing due to a vehicle collision. On closer inspection, the metal poles holding the sign are also excessively rusty and damaged. The poles need replacing abd the sign reattaching. This sign is on the A489 before the turning for Churchstoke.
