Potholes get repaired here and then more develop. The last two were repaired approx 3 weeks ago and less than 2 weeks later two more had appeared. Perhaps the carriageway here needs a more extensive/substantive repair…….

This road surf e has deteriorated over the last 12 months and is now developing numerous potholes from the entrance to Orleton Rise Caravan park down to the junction with the Maidenhead pub.

2 potholes on southbound carriageway just past the Ashley Moor/Orleton crossroads on the uphill slope. Potholes appeared perhaps 3 weeks ago and are slowly getting larger.

Road Surface Breaking Up, 20th March
There is a section of road approximately 100 metres long where the road surface is breaking up. I believe this section of road was resurfaced a couple of years ago, however the work was of such poor quality that entire sections of the road, particularly in the middle of the road, is breaking up. Poor quality patchwork repairs have been carried out on specific potholes, but this simply makes the problem worse and the patched areas are now better than the original road causing the original surface to break up even quicker. The road badly need assessing and repairing completely by someone competent.

A String of Pot Holes, 20th March
There are a string of pot holes on the southbound side of the road along a stretch of approximately 100 metres. This section of road has been poorly maintained for years, with patchwork repairs that last a couple of months at best. The potholes retain rain water as there is no roadside drainage and some of the larger holes are up to 4 inches deep. The road needs accessing and repairing properly.
