Constant water leak from somewhere is breaking road surface down, 25th April
Constant water leak from somewhere is breaking road surface down and creating large pot holes. The road surface is almost impassable.
This is an ongoing issue that needs attention. It freezes in the winter making it lethal. There has been an ice symbol sign placed on the side of the road so I believe you are aware of the issue but this hasn't resolved the root cause and ongoing problem.
Thank you.

Road drainage overwhelming ditch exit pipe, 17th April
Notification received today that this previously reported problem has been fixed! Notification received today that work on this previously reported problem has been completed but no work has been done to fix this problem. The problem remains unresolved with 3 road drains overwhelming the otherwise sufficient ground drainage capacity of the ditch feeding the pipe. Does the council have the right to damage my property with water fed from drains located on the opposite side of the road to my home?

Fly tipping again, 1st April
Can the council please come and collect the rubbish and the rubbish bins that have been dumped on the side of the road. The council have created this problem and are not doing anything at all about it. The council now say the rubbish collection day is Friday. All rubbish bins put out for a friday collection should have now been taken back to homes. There are rubbish bins and rubbish dumped here constantly and this is against the councils own rubbish collection rules. It encourages fly tipping and I have seen a car slow down and throw rubbish from their car onto the side of the road to join the rubbish dumped there. This is a health hazard and is obstructing the highway. The bollard put up to prevent parking on a junction has now been knocked down and is just constantly covered with bins.

Flooding from road causing road embankment to be undermined, 14th March
The frequent floods are markedly eroding the man-made embankment that supports the road (rebuilt about 25 years ago). The floods are also eroding the top edge of the embankment, bringing the edge of the embankment closer to the road and undermining the hedgerow. Separately when the drainage system from the culvert that drains across our land is overwhelmed, this results in a torrent of water that has devastated our garden and almost entered our house The second drain across our property higher up Caynham Road is also eroded at the outfall and is not large enough for the flow of water during a storm.
