This road has been in a disgraceful condition for far too long. It must be 12 months or more and it is gradually getting worse by the day. It is appalling that they can leave a road in this condition for so long. You have to slow right down to drive over this road and even then last week I broke a spring on my car, it’s just not acceptable anymore. Why aren’t they doing anything to solve this.

Dangerous pot holed carriageways, 21st March
On the county border there are two stretches of pot holes. The road here is terrible and been that way for months if not years. Powys Council say it’s Hereford Council’s responsibility. The surface is dangerous to cyclists, motorcyclists and damaging to vehicles. You have to slow down dramatically and often vehicles swerve across carriageway to avoid the holes. It’s a black spot.

Two adjacent stretches of dangerously damaged road, 19th March
On the county border there are two stretches of pot holes. The road here is terrible and been that way for months if not years. Is there a dispute over which council is responsible? Flooding on road due to drainage blocked, 3rd March
The drain to field cuts are now blocked along this road so the whole road floods, these cuts in hedge to field need re-cutting or dredging to re-establish drain away for surface water so the road does not become inpassable every time it rains hard

Long stretch of road with deep potholes on both sides of road, 1st March
The potholes have been extremely bad on both sides of the road and have got deeper over time , as they have been there for over 12 months the road is very un drivable. It has caused me to pop a tyre and damage the wheel on my car

Road markings faded, 1st March
Road markings are faded, this is particularly dangerous as the route of the road is now unclear. In the past few weeks I have twice seen vehicles fail to slow before turning right, I believe this would not have happened if the road markings were clear. This issue risks a serious accident on or near the adjacent level crossing.

Large surface area developing into a large pothole just before the Barn on the righthandside as you travel up Daffodil Lane, 22nd February
This surface issue/pothole has degenerated over the past 18 months, its mainly caused by heavy rainfall, where the water has no option than come down from the hills, wearing the road away with erosion, where it has totally worn away the top surface over a largish area 10 meters by width of the road and a large pothole thats getting worse just on the one side, making it detrimental to any normal car travelling this road, attemts have been made over the years to "patch" it up, but it needs the complete surface over the entire area to be sorted not just the actual pothole, as all that happens is it just deteriorates in another palce ariund the "repaired" area, really hope you can sort out ? Bordering Death on motorbikes, 21st February
Border between England & Wales extremely dangerous potholes almost unrideable on a motorbike, been like it for more than 12 months, There comes a time when a road is bad & when councils should be prosecuted for lack of diligence and this been the latter Powys, Shropshire/ Herefordshire council need to work together and get this fixed
