This is on a good day, normally flooded across lane, 6th April
This has flooded all winter due to broken pipe under lane as rodding has been attempted and unsucessful due to blockage. There is no verge just a deep hole where the drain is, very dangerous as on school bus route right on the junction.....who is liable when the bus ends up in the ditch!!? Farmers have cleared ditch but still no drain off.

Huge Pothole, 5th April
Step daughter has damaged 2 link bars on this pothole when she drove from Smethcott to Walkmills on Sunday 26th March.

Also, drain cover is no longer straight due to years of deterioration.

Massive potholes almost impossible to pass, nearly invisible in the dark., 20th March
The potholes are causing massive problems to get down this narrow lane in a family car. Have been reported for a long time now. Four new tyres today. Problems with suspensions in both of our cars. Dangerous, bad for the environment and super expensive.

Blocked drain, 19th March
Blocked for months we have tried to unclog it with a large broom handle to no avail. I have put some bricks around to stop more leaves and rubble going in.

Two large pot holes, 6th March
There’s water springing up out of the road. All through the dry weather last year there was always running water here. It’s now turned into a spring In the road. My daughter punctured her car tire in it yesterday !

Very large potholes across road, 29th February
Potholes have been here for over 2 months and the largest is now encroaching across half the road. Both potholes are filled with rain water so are difficult to spot unless you are familiar with the road.

Carriageway pothole and erosion at the bottom of Dead Man’s Hollow, 10th February
Large carriageway erosion on the bend of Dead Man’s Hollow. Road from the crossroads through Dead Man’s Hollow and on towards Mynderley has lots of large potholes forming on carriageway due to storm damage over the recent months.

Large surface pothole at the cross roads and white line markings missing, 10th February
This surface pothole is being rapidly eroded at the cross roads by the amount of water that has been running down the road in the winter storms. The white line markings at the cross road also worn away, potential for accidents as unfamiliar drivers don’t know who has right of way.

Deep pothole, 6th February
Deep pothole opened up adj. manhole cover. An elderly lady fell over on Sunday because of this hole! Remember we have no footways here, and no street lighting, so this is dangerous.

Just when you think you've avoided the sunken drain and the hole opposite it, there are two more impossible to drive round just here. Been there for months.
