The pot holes have been there for several months and the road surface is deteriorating daily. Almost impossible for a regular car to negotiate the holes safely when it has been raining.

Three huge potholes, 11th March
Three potholes congregated at the junction heading northbound. They are so substantial that all cars swerve into the adjacent lane to avoid them. I have seen multiple near misses and have nearly been hit myself by cars swerving to dodge them. Impact with any of them would cause damage - two could easily cause blowouts or unseat cyclists. This is urgent work that cannot wait. There is a substantial risk to safety.

Road drains blocked, 4th March
Over the weekend I observed two gullies blocked either side of the road just out side the 40 limit and at 1 more inside the limit towards Westbury. All lead to an unnecessary and excessive build up of water into the carriage way.
I reported these blocked gullies a couple of weeks ago and have just been advised on Friday that the work had been done and gullies cleared. This information was clearly wrong.

Several large potholes on bend, 26th February
Several large pot holes on bend. You try to avoid the one at the edge of the road to then be faced with one in the centre of the road causing you to drive into on coming traffic on the other side of the road on the bend. Very dangerous especially when you come face to face with a large HGV or farm vehicle.
