Having HGV’s thunder towards you on a b road gives you two options hard to the left or stop . Over to the left and you hit the first of a series of ten pit holes , how Simone hasn’t been seriously injured bewilders me. But it’s here now in black and white . For my trouble knackered wheel Rim only the 3rd this year !!! Been getting worse all Winter one pit holes has evidence of four previous repairs !! I bet the council keep On paying what about getting money back on poorly fixed repairs ???

Grass verges around Caradoc View are not cut and residents complaining. The verges could belong to a housing association, 30th April
The verges are overgrown. One resident said they hadn't been cut since October 2023. I think people would be ok if they think the cutting was scheduled in.

Street lights turned off at night, 30th April
The street lights outside my house have been turned off after midnight. Only problem is it goes pitch black when there is no light and we can’t see our vehicles and we can’t see where we are walking in an emergency which could cause more injury!

4 x blocked drains, 8th April
Unable to take photo as no public footpath. From the island on by pass to the trading estate, at least 4 drains completely blocked on carriage way with at least 6” worth of flooding debris on edge of carriageway including very large fist size rocks. Each drain has a lot of silt built up which has drained off neighbouring fields. When flooding occurrs it forces drivers onto opposite side of the road and has now also damaged the road surface which is beginning to break up

12” pot hole. I think the house it’s nearest to is the coach house, the one that’s for sale, 7th April

Flood on main road just after the first two cottages, 28th March
There is a flood on the main road and it’s causing lots of traffic delays. It’s due to a blocked drain. The drain needs unblocking. Every time it rains heavy the same area floods because of the drain. It floods the whole road and makes it hard to get through it

Overgrown tree, 21st March

Dog waste in drains, 9th March
The gentleman who lives at 120 Caradoc View, picks up after his dog then disposes of the dog waste and doggy bag in the closes drain. This has been witnessed by several neighbours

Hydraulic oil tank dumped, 24th February
I have moved into rea brook view on main road Hanwood this week and someone has fly tipped a hydraulic oil tank from the road down the bank and it is now leaning against my fence. There is still oil in the tank and it poses a health hazard to my children and dogs, so I am trying to find out how I can get it removed, or whether I need to contact my solicitors because it was the responsibility of the previous owners to have had it removed prior to completion.

Flooded road, 23rd February
Longstanding problem which threatens to cut off access to village as only other access becomes impassaable when Rea brook overflows. Drain in road has not functioned properly for a long time.
