Overgrown area causing damage to our fencing, 25th April
This area is heavily overgrown and is causing substantial damage to the fencing of Dorrington Village Hall. It has even push over a 4m section which has had to be removed due to the risk of injury. We have checked the land registry and this land is owned by Shropshire Council but is not included in the maintenance of the main recreation ground

Excessive mud on northbound carriageway in a 60 mph zone. Mud is being distributed from the neighbouring field via tractors

Blocked Drains, 9th April
There are two blocked drains on the hill leading down from Dorrington towards Shrewsbury - each time it rains the water flows over the top of both drains and floods at the bridge

This is a listed bridge that was damaged and is awaiting repair. there are temporary safety barriers up that appear to have been disturbed. please could someone take a look as appropriate

Faulty “ max speed 40” sign, 25th March
The “max speed 40” sign attached to warning of bends sign has become twisted on the mounting pole (presumably through hedge cutting) and is not clearly visible from the road.

New ditches being dug, 18th March
Ditches appear to be being dug on both sides of the road along this stretch between Condover and Cantlop. There were no previous ditches here (but does appear to have been buried field drains in place).
At night, if a vehicle meets oncoming traffic, it may try to pull over only to find there is a ditch hazard. There are no bollards or signage to indicate the ditch hazard.
I presume this is Shropshire highways land, not private land, hence reporting the ongoing works (which are not showing on the interactive roadworks map).

These potholes near the junction have been there for months and are deepening risking damage to cars and tyres

Pothole approx 12 inches across, 15th March
This pothole has been an issue for many months and has got progressively worse. It’s on the boundary entrance to The Doctors surgery and Village Hall. It’s a real danger to the elderly residents who use both facilities. Additionally it could easily cause someone to fall from a bicycle, and also damage to cars that use the roadway

Excessive water with potholes beneath in the passing place, 13th March
Passing place soon fills up with water when it rains and beneath are potholes which are not visible then. A drain into the adjacent field would probably solve this and get the potholes repaired then.

Roadworks at side of road, 11th March
Roadworks at side of busy A49 have been going on for a few weeks. Reflective marker posts have been dug up and they rest precariously at side of road, difficult to see at night.

Several pot holes on this road, 8th March
There are several pot holes on this road, and some are very large and over 3 feet long and also quite deep. This road has caused damage to my car. About 200 yards of this road will need resurfacing ASAP
