This pothole is just before the bend and difficult to avoid without putting your vehicle onto the wrong side of the road when you can't see what is coming from the other direction. this makes this a particular safety issue.

Gravel & debris, stones, mud, etc built up, 16th March
Due to run off from farmers fields, there is now an accumulation of stones, mud and loose material opposite The Old School House on the right hand side. Although a road sweeper has been through, it cannot cope with the volume, this needs abit more effort to shovel up into the back of a flat bed!

Really nasty pothole developed - big thumb if you hit it, 16th March
I know there are a number of defects been highlighted along this road from direction of Hodnet to Weston, but this one has been here a while and very deep; worth the effort to get out and fix

Potholes, 6th March
Customer called and requested that the Council resurface this whole lane due to you having a duty because of it being used by horse and carriage and Shropshire Council already resurfaced it in 2021. This lane is impassable for cars and horses.

Potential Sink Hole, 13th February
Road is collapsing - severn trent have looked and advised the ground is very soft and may well collapse totally in the form of a sink hole. Severn trent ref 13612427. They think it may be a broken or cracked victorian waste waster drain - it is not sewerage. Water is bubbling out of it. DANGEROUS TO WALKERS AND HORSES ON THIS ROAD AS THERE IS NO FOOTPATH.

Flood signage requested, 2nd January
Large puddle on road near Brook Farm caused an RTC after large van hit the puddle after coming round blind bend and 'aquaplaned' before turning over. WM requesting signage to warn of conditions there.

Stop Dog Fouling on Village Green, 3rd July
The Tenants who rent The Lodge, Hawkstone Hotel. Have a Golden Retriever who is allowed to foul the Village green outside the rented house. Local villagers regularly mow the 2 grass areas . It is totally unacceptable that these residents ignore the Dog Fouling Laws and we have to mow over their dog fouling which has been going on for 2 years.

Parking signs uprooted and hidden, 8th April
There's a layby on the left hand side going north where the Parking sign on the layby has been uprooted/knocked over - maybe worth fixing it before it gets stolen for scrap. A few hundred yards south of this, going north, is a layby ahead/parking sign forewarning this layby but it is now totally hidden by saplings, etc .

Customer calling about temp traffic light on the junction of a49 and weston under redcastle and Wem,he says the temp traffic lights are not needed as after the light goes green vehicles have to come to a stop at junction and doesnt think lights are needed and it causes tail backs
