Blocked Drain near brook on verge on right hand side of lane travelling towards the brook. Other drains nearby are also not functioning correctly, 9th April
Drain on verge by brook completely blocked. Other drains on road not functioning correctly. A lot of earth from verge flows in to the drains. Workman previously informed me that an 'Apron' would be put around the drain outside brook cottage. This never materialised. In my opinion this would help to stop debris flowing in to the drain. Presumably not carried out due to cost. Therefore constant problem and false economy in my humble opinion.

Black pole installed by Shropshire Council at 8 Shrewsbury Road blocking line of sight leaving driveway, 27th March
The parish council asked Shropshire Council to erect a black pole on the grass verge of my property. This was erected in 2019 - but the council have now stated that it is not needed for a flashing speed sign. The pole blocks my view when pulling off my drive straight onto the main A49 road. It is dangerous and caused a near miss again yesterday. The parish council leader met with me yesterday and agreed that it was dangerous and has added a fix my street request for this issue too. This pile was erected without our permission and is dangerous as you can not see oncoming traffic from the right when trying to leave our drive. The dangerous driving on this stretch of the 40 zone of the A49 is dangerous due to the overtaking and nil police presence.
Please can the pole be removed as it was erected by Shropshire council, with no notice to us, as landowners.

Dog litter bin, 24th March
The dog litter bin on Church Lane has broken and was laying on the floor. This has been moved directly in front of houses along Hawkstone Close without consultation and in a spot that creates hygiene concerns and is prone to overgrowth. Support requested to move this from Hawkstone Close back to its registered spot. Further up Church Lane is the official sign where this should be placed.

Potholes, 9th March
Sorry to have to contact you again, sadly my previous concerns over potholes and flooding on the corner of Painsbrook lane just off A49 have nor been addressed via email or in person. I last telephoned a week or more ago when flooding was serious on the bend of Painsbrook lane. The many many potholes start on the bend of Painsbrook lane through the stables saddlery and half way up the lane towards the Heath which prove detrimental to health issues and vehicles horse riders and walkers. Hopefully some one will contact me. Yours sincerely Mrs Lewis
