An old electric box next to the road on the verge by the postbox has been broken and the electric is live so water / or children near = danger - the hinges have come off - it has been ratcheted closed for now but needs fixing asap. If someone could pop the ratchet strap over the gate at the property behind the box when fixed that would be great .

Roundabout lights out and very dangerous at night, 13th April
The roundabout street lamps are all out at 9.30in the evening. Its a very dark approach to the roundabout and its evident from tyre trails that cars have not realised roundabout is upon them until too late and gone straight over the island. Surely these lights should be on or atleast on until midnight like in other areas.

Catchpit full of run off and mud and lane road surface very muddy, 13th April
Opposite the Three Pigeon’s pub: The catchpit for water run off is full/blocked and needs emptying to avoid the road junction from flooding. Also, following tractor working on the adjacent field the lane is very muddy and needs the street cleaner. See photo’s.

Build up of leaves on roads, 1st April
Since the last street clean we have had the autumn fall of leaves which have now built up in the road gutters all along Wilcot Avenue, especially past the old garages indicated on the map. Kingsways and Queensway could also benefit from a clean. The verges are also overgrown and now beginning to grow over the kerbs.

Numerous expanding pot holes near entrance to laundry farm and field, 28th March
Pot holes present for several months on road at entrance to Laundry Farm and field entrance. Number of pot holes increasing and size of pot holes getting rapidly bigger. Being caused by large volumes of water flowing down the road, being caused by a blocked drain further up the road. Blocked drain now causing a number of problems on the road and needs to be cleared (also reported). Water also cutting into verge and destroying verge at side of road.

4 square foot area very deep pothole near junction in dangerous location., 16th March
Usually filled with water so, unless you know about it, you crash down into it. Tractors are making it bigger and there is a huge pile of tarmac debris building up alongside it.

Cannot be avoided and is on a steep stretch of narrow lane on a blind corner,main access used by visitors to oak car park for hopton woods.Accidents inevitable

Mud all over the road, 12th March
Customer called to ask what is being done to counteract the diversions that go along this road. Every time traffic is diverted to this road it becomes covered in mud which makes driving it very dangerous. The big vehicles churn up the sides of this narrow road and cause the road to become a mud slide. Customer want to know why we do not clean up after this happens.
