Unecessary Lane Closure, 3rd May
Lane 2 is closed the first 60m or so Southbound from the retail park roundabout. This means Lane 2 has to be closed between Meole Brace and the Retail Park Rbt, causing long delays. No works are ongoing on the South side of the roundabout so the restrictions could be removed. It was the same yesterday. A more permanent solution whilst the works are ongoing could be to make Lane 1 between Meole Brace Rbt and Retail Park Rbt "Left only" and Lane 2 "Ahead ONly", thus meaning traffic leaving the Town would be seperated from shoppers.

Dangerous illegal turning and driving over crossing, 3rd May
Cars are continually turning right at the bottom of Wyle Cop into Beeches Lane, narrowly missing people using the zebra crossing, with several close misses as they speed around.
In addition, some cars are turning over the pavement and then onto the crossing to reach Beeches Lane and Town Walles instead of travelling over English Bridge and back.
The weekend road closures see it happening more often as people attempt to missi the queue coming into town over English Bridge. A cyclist was nearly struck last weekend.
They are als mounting the kerb in their turn which is nearly hitting House of Grain. Some sort of change is needed at the bottom of the road. The temporary signs over the weekend should have cones extended further down the road to prevent the turning, even if it means motorists have to go around town to access Tanners from the English Bridge side.
I live in Century House looking over the junction and witness incidents regularly.

Customer's son has just had a bad accident cycling into a bollard where you go under the railway line to go to ASDA. Please can this be illuminated as it cannot be seen.

Padlocks starting to appear on porthill footbridge, 3rd May
Padlocks are starting to be placed along the sides of prothill footbridge. This is a well known problem elsewhere, which spreads like an unsightly plague, growing to thousands being left in situ, the weight being a threat to the bridge structure - a bridge in paris had 45 tons of padlocks removed in the end. Please try and put a stop to this asap, eg remove any there weekly, to hopefully deter others.

Significant refuse accumulation - Potential environmental impact, 2nd May
Significant refuse accumulation within the wooded area of the Meole Brace Park & Ride Site SY3 9NB. Unable to pinpoint on the map as it claims not a Shropshire Council site which is incorrect.
The amount of rubbish located behind the hedge row could have potential for environmental related issues including risk to wildlife.
The issue has been reported by my employees who will be happy to show an officer the exact location of the refuse if required.

College students using ebdal road slip road as a rat run to avoid regular jams caused by ridiculous sitting of bus stop and zebra crossing. They speed down it at frightening speeds making it unsafe for any of our 9 grandchildren to consider walking or cycling when they visit., 2nd May
Speed camera turns up sometimes at 10am on Saturday morning!! I think this speaks for itself!

Dangerous parking, 2nd May
This looks to be from students at the SCAT and is getting worse.
Inconsiderate parking making it impossible for wheelchair access.
Also this is now overflowing on to Huxley close. Again wheelchair access not possible and making the whole area dangerous for pedestrians.
Surely yellow lines need to be applied to safeguard pedestrians.
