A 2 foot long 5inches deep pothole, 27th June
This pothole has been on the lane up to Welshlool Golf Club for several months and has grown to such an extent that it is difficult to avoid on such a narrow lane. It is so deep that you would easily damage your vehicle if you either didn't see the pothle in time or were unable to avoid it. It is made worse by the fact that there is anotber pothole on the other side of the lane a few yards away making it a chicane to avoid them both.

Sweeper needed, 8th December
Sweeper required for more than one pass on this steep slope. To clear heavy leaf fall which has obstructed the road surface and is becoming worse with frost. There is a LOT of debris up/down the whole hill. A place can be provided for local emptying of sweeper to save travel back to base - as long as the sweeper is clean before start of job and therefore doesn't contain any other debris than that from the hill.

Heavy mud on road and mow no indication of 90 degree bend, 30th November
The trees in the wood on the edge of the road have been cut down. The contractors vehicle have covered the road in heavy mud, especially from Berriew side. There are no signs saying mud on road. Mud is difficult to see in the dark.
When the wood was there, you were able to determine (from Castle Caereinion side) that there was a 90 degree bend in the road. Now there are no trees, there is no indication that the road bends. There are no barriers so someone could easily drive off the road and drop the 20 foot or so into the wood as at night the road appears to go straight on (over the edge!).

Road cleaning required., 22nd August
An irresponsible farmer has been muck spreading and ploughing for the past few days and covered a public highway in dirt. With is not just a small amount. It covers 40-50 metre of the road surface across the full width and approx. 1inch deep. To further jeopardise road safety, this part of the road is on a blind bend and a slope. There have been several minor dams he collisions already and many more near misses as a result of the road surface.
