Mutiple potholes, 28th August
These potholes have been here for some time without any action being taken by Powys CC. A road closure by Severn Trent over the past day or so has substantially increased the volume of traffic using Brooklyn, particularly heavy goods and large farm vehicles. The result is that the pre-existing potholes have been made significantly wider and deeper.

Large stones fallen from bank out on to road, 16th July
Some loose stone has slid down and out on to the road, right on the apex of the band. My wife hit one of these and destroyed a tyre which cost us over £140...

Large deep pothole near edge of road, 27th April
A large deep pothole needs urgent repair due to its location near the edge of the road and at the entry to a passing-place on this single-track road. It is invisible when filled with rainwater in wet weather so poses a serious danger to motor-bikers in particular, who are likely to be thrown from their machine, possibly into the path of the vehicle for which they making room. GPS co-ordinates are: N 52.552 degrees W 3.206 degrees.

By the black shed and sewage works, 4th April
Big hole in the ground, was repaired but only lasted a few months but the problem is now bigger. ideally needs about a 150 yards of new tarmac so it fills all the little broken holes as well.

A Further pothole, 18th April
A further pothole that need repair. This stretch of road from the crossroads to Brooklyn has several potholes and others in the making. The solution previously has been to patch and fill the damaged areas, but perhaps resurfacing of this stretch of road is now necessary to achieve lasting, long term results.
