The bench along the wall of St Mary's Church, servicing the County Services Bus Stop, is severely damaged and corroded, such that when sitting at one end the entire bench lifts away from the wall. This needs repairing as a matter of urgency.

Bird droppings, 8th May
This area is filthy because the road sweeper cannot negotiate the seating area . It would cost very little to move the seating a few yards to allow access for the sweeper . Also there is a pop up sign that was damaged months ago that is an eye sore . This area is no long the sole domain of rough sleepers and drug addicts thanks to the Rangers patrolling the area. It is the first impression of Shrewsbury Town for many visitors .

Litter dropped from driver's window, 7th May
On Saturday 4 May at 13:21 I witnessed the driver of the Mercedes LV14 HHD throw litter from their car window. Sitting in the coffee shop, I was directly facing the road and was shocked that in such a busy area someone would do this.

Hedge growing over half of towpath, 7th May
Hedge is now growing over half of the towpath meaning you physically have to let 1 person at a time through at the bottom of st Mary's water lane as you go towards the English bridge. Needs cutting back before it grows any more!

Streetlight Missing, 7th May
March 23 the customer reported a problem with this streetlight outside the yorkshire house. Apart from the post the rest of the light was removed. Ref 14108572 has been closed and says the light was fixed on 06 Mar 23, however, this never happened. Can you let the customer know when the light will be replaced.

Oversize commercial bins in small alley encouraging antisocial behaviour, 6th May
Large commercial bins have become more and more of a fixture on Grope Lane, and are encroaching further and further up the alley. As well as creating an eyesore in an historical part of the town, they are acting as a complete magnet for people vomiting, urinating, defecating and preparing drugs. The attached photos show the state after this weekend's deposits (vomit). Retail and commercial establishments should be supported as much as possible in town, and Costa, for example, is a very important part of the life of the town centre. But it's only in the last three or four years that the commercial bins have appeared, so the businesses were evidently able to operate without them all on display before then. It feels like some arrangement should be reachable.
