3'x1'x2" approx pothole at previously marked location on map SY113EA, 11th March
The pothole only exist due pretty much to all the drains around SY113EA being blocked solid. All through autumn/winter and now spring there is a constant flow of water down the road due to its incline and higher ground all around. The hole outside our property is one of around half a dozen along that short stretch of road that were marked up for repair ob Thursday 8th March (See pic) The other picture was taken this morning with the paint now totally erased, as is the marking of the rest that require repair. From previously speaking to workmen doing repairs, I've asked why they don't fill in holes that might be right next to another one that they are filling, to be told they can't if they're not marked. You would think common sense would kick in but no!! ????? With the markings all but erased in just a couple of days I don't hold much hope of imminent repair unless additional instruction is given to fill the holes that exist marked or not. The holes on the joining road were marked up at least six times before eventually being filled and then not all as the marking had worn off some. Marking holes over and over is a total waste of time and money. A stretch of road should ve identified for r needing attention and workmen should use their intelligence and fix what needs fixing.
