Blocked drainage causing flooding, 1st March
1-2 miles before J38, northbound on the M1 there is poor drainage that allows rainwater to start flooding at the bottom of the hill. This will stick around for days after rain but is especially bad if the rain is heavy like today.

Inconsiderate parking, 19th November
Person with a van always parks in such a position that it is causing an issue with buses trying to turn right, they have to mount the right kerb causing damage to tyres, also an issue with persons stood on the path and a concrete manhole that may not take the weight of a bus

Dead cat on central reservation., 2nd July
There is a injured / probably dead cat on the central reservation of the M1 between jct37 and Jct 38. It was hit by a car at about 10am Saturday 1st July. I think the location was approximately 1 mile south of Kexbrough.

Cars constantly double parked near the junction., 11th January
Cars are continuously double parked at the junction of River View and The Grange. Barely wide enough gap for a car most of the time. Emergency vehicles like an ambulance or fire engine would have no chance getting through.

The pothole is huge and unavoidable especially when driving in the dark! It’s been there for more than three weeks now with no change.

Poor road repair, 31st October
There has recently been a repair on the stretch of Lane Head Road from one side to the other. The repair is shocking it is a 50mm speed hump they have left on a 60mph road and it spans both lanes.
Admittedly it is worse on your way to Cawthorne but is still poor on your way to town. Just using a piece of wood has a straight edge would have solved the issue. However they have left it like this and it’s dangerous given the road carries a National Speed Limit.

Public right of way lynton place to Huddersfield Road darton, 22nd October
This is a public footpath used daily by lots of people but has not been cleaned since last November. It is full of rubbish litter dog bags(since the waste bins was taken away)and is a disgrace. Have complained about the issue since July but so far BMBC have done nothing.

Dog Pooh, Litter, 18th June
There is a public footopath which runs either side of Brookhill road near the memorial garden on this footpath there are allsorts of litter included what could be drug use items and there are vast amounts of dog pooh and full pooh bags, there are also plasic shards which all in all very dangerous to children of the area..

Large collection of potholes and the road surface has sunk in on the junction., 13th April
The main cluster of potholes and broken road surface is running across the junction making it unavoidable from any direction and covers from where the cemetery is on the corner round past the rose and crown. Is has been like this for about 3 months but has got considerably worse over the last 4 weeks
