FIXMYSTREET IN S75 4DX
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of S75 4DX:
Huge puddle stretching halfway across the road at a point where it is only single-carriageway width, 17th April
The puddle is exactly the point where a cyclist was killed a few years ago, on a very dangerous bend. As well as sorting the drainage out the bend needs a chevron roadsign on the approach from the north to assist roadusers. Currently there is only a 'double bend' red triangle roadsign.

Poor road repair, 31st October
There has recently been a repair on the stretch of Lane Head Road from one side to the other. The repair is shocking it is a 50mm speed hump they have left on a 60mph road and it spans both lanes.
Admittedly it is worse on your way to Cawthorne but is still poor on your way to town. Just using a piece of wood has a straight edge would have solved the issue. However they have left it like this and it’s dangerous given the road carries a National Speed Limit.

Numerous Melted tar patches!!, 11th August
Re - Road outside 8 Oakleigh, Cawthorne, S754EU, which is a Turning Point for the Cul de Sac. The Road was never dressed properly since resurfacing and wet tar has been a significant problem since. The very hot weather plus the fact it is a turning point for all vehicles has meant that melted tar is a major issue for both pedestrians and car tyres. Could sand be spread over this area asap please.

Manhole noise not reticfied, 16th July
Good afternoon 3 vehicles arrived last night (Friday 15th July) with workmen that spent over an hour trying to fix the extremely noisy manhole cover that I reported last Wednesday (13th July 2022). Unfortunately the issue has not been resolved and it is still extremely loud when vehicles are driving over it. It maybe the case that parts are needed to resolve the issue but if not please could someone come out again and look at it. This noise did not happen before the work was carried out a week ago. Many thanks.
