Neighbours parking, 2nd April
Neighbours taking up unnessary spaces, we don't have any parking so are forced to park across the road but our neighbour has a drive for 4 cars and still parks on street not just taking one parking space but 2. Also all her family are parking on street 3 times a day taking the full street up. This has been going on for 8 years, we've asked multiple times for her to pull forward so other cars can fit on but she refuses and has family coming to the house making threats

At a guess 500mm x 300mm pot hole 100m deep on side going East, 7th March
The road under the railway bridge is in a terrible state and has been for years, It seems like it does not belong to the council as they have resurfaced either side of the bridge, but there is an 8-10m strip actually under the bridge that never gets touched.

Irresponsible double parking, 16th February
Cars are double parking on the junction of Gawber Road and our cul-de-sac, Haverdale Rise. These cars obstruct access for vehicles needing to gain access to Haverdale Rise. This has been an issue for some years, but recently it has become an increasing nuisance. Delivery vehicles have sometimes refused to come onto our street when the cars are parked like this, and even an ambulance wasn’t able to gain access when a neighbour needed emergency care. A parking permit for our street was rejected many years ago, and the double yellow lines that are painted on Gawber Road do not stretch round the corner far enough onto Haverdale Rise giving the motorist the opportunity to park as close as they can to the junction. We don’t know the legal length that double yellow lines are supposed to stretch round a corner; if there is ever is one. Please note: it isn’t always the same to cars as depicted in the pictures. These photos were taken on different days and was a coincidence it was the same two vehicles. To finish with the cars are usually there for nearly 12 hours, giving rise to notion the owners of the vehicles are Barnsley Hospital Staff.

Grate, 15th February
The noise from the grate as cars go over is horrendous. It's on Dodworth Road straight across from Lancaster Street. The noise is getting worse and I do believe the grate must not be down right for the amount of noise it makes which could lead to an accident if a vehicle goes over it at a wrong angle.

Always parks the car here and makes the corner a blind bend, 8th February
In my opinion this diagonal part of the corner is to allow traffic to safely drive round the corner. This car regularly parks here, making the corner a blind bend and difficult to pass if a car is coming the other way. There are also a number of small children who live on the road and any car trying to pass this car wouldn't be able to see the children playing

Telephone? Pole with loose / low cables, 24th January
I know it's probably not a council problem, but I didn't know who else to contact. There is a telegraph post with low hanging cables on Queens Drive that I've just seen on my way to work. Could be problematic and caused by the wind. Cheers.

Dangerous parking, 19th January
Vehicles are dangerously being parked and left abandoned at the junction of Mapplewell Drive and Carr Green Lane obscuring the view of other traffic and pedestrians when pulling out of the junction. The are also causing an unnecessary obstruction for large goods vehicles trying to get past. This is an ongoing issue and vehicles are constantly being left in dangerous positions and a number of near miss accidents have been witnessed because of the inconsiderate dangerous way that the vehicles are being parked
