ISSUE: Youths are behaving in an Anti-social manner around the Asda at Grimethorpe damaging commercial premises and buses disrupts the service.
ACTION: Our neighbourhood officers stepped up joint patrols with Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council wardens and special constables including running a 'Trojan bus' operation with officers and BMBC staff placed on the bus to detain anyone involved. There are now a total of 10 young people referred through to the Youth Offending Team for the part they played in such behaviour.

ISSUE: Youths around Wike Road Lundwood behaving in an anti-social manner.
ACTION: Increased police and Neighbourhood Warden patrols in the area and spoke with a number of youths. Some detained for searches and a small amount of drugs recovered prior to dispersing youths.
