Flooding, 2nd April
Flooding on the public highway was fixed a year ago by the council by re-directing onto private land. This land is a paddock used for horses and has been left in an unusable state for the last year. It has left the land constantly saturated with water and is now a very deep and hazardous bog with toxic, stagnant water. This so called fix has been reported to the council on multiple occasions to which they have said will be revisited and altered, however, a year on and still nothing. The photos do not reveal the full extent, it is actually fast flowing water into this paddock which now needs resolving with immediate effect.

There has been no street lighting on Bateman Road or Parkstone Crescent for over weeks now. Despite many reports from residents,Parish councillors and Ward councillors and also phone calls to RMBC and Northern Power grids over the past few weeks the problem does not appear to be any nearer to being resolved.
