At least 10inch pothole, 21st April
There is a large pothole. It has been causing significant difficulties for drivers, as they are forced to swerve or breaks abruptly to avoid it. This sudden manoeuvring not only endangers the vehicles around them but also increases the chance of collisions or accidents. As a pedestrian with mobility issues, navigating the area has become extremely dangerous. Given the proximity to the school, the risk is heightened during peak hours when there is increased foot traffic.

Broken glass strewn across numerous roads, 19th April
Since the recycling (brown bin) collection yesterday morning , there are now piles of smashed glass at regular (approx 10-20m) I.tervals up Darwin Road, Overton Road and the neighbouring Marion and Withens Roads. I've not check other roads yet. The regularity of the piles of broken glass and sizes of the individual pieces of broken glass are a significant safety hazard to pedestrians and animals who use these streets and roads .. and also cause a significant safety and cost risk to the hundreds of vehicles which use the roads. If the glass isn't cleared up urgently, it it at high risk of being spread around the roads and pavements, further increasing the risk to users.
I urge the relevant authority to urgently clean the glass off the streets and then to also look into why this has happened (a fault in the vehicle or recycled goods/ items clearance process?).
