50 mph speed limit rarely observed, 20th March
Since changes were made to Sheffield Parkway ( now a 50mph speed limit throughout) I wish to report that drivers rarely travel to this maximum and when observing the speed limit you feel like you are in the minority. It is currently a free for all, with cars undertaking and overtaking, and the outside lane closure near the M1 roundabout is making things much worse. Despite there being advance notification and a countdown to the lane closure, drivers are ignoring this until the last minute then pushing in in ffeont of drivers who have patiently waited in line.
I have to travel this way to and from work daily, and really feel that some sort of enforcement cameras are needed to ensure the 50mph is observed!

Street Lights not working, 19th March
The street lights were reported broken on the on the 1st of March and Rotherham Council emailed to say they have been fixed. Clearly that is not true. There are now three lights out causing the entire roundabout exit onto the Parkway / pedestrian crossing to be in total darkness. rather than saying the problem has been fixed would it not make more sense to say that it was a work in progress, instead of shutting the enquiry down? Please fix the lights.

Pothole in road on roundabout approx 15+ inches x 7 inches, 4th March
There is a pothole approximately 15" long by 6" wide 1.5" deep in the road surface on the roundabout heading into treeton from swallow nest just at the point you can turn left onto wood lane. This has steep sharp edges which resulted to my tyre sidewall getting damaged causing a irreparable puncture and possible rim damage. My tyre is only about 3 months old. No idea how long it has been there as I rarely use the route. No debris around the hole suggesting it has been there a while.
