This pot hole has been here a good few months! the council keep putting cones before it then taking them away without filling it! i’ve just gone through at about 20 as was coming up to corner and it has slashed my front left tyre!

Numerous deep potholes and broken road surface, 15th January
Jetting Street is again littered with deep potholes along its entire length, and where the houses are currently being built the road surface is broken and uneven. These are deep enough to cause damage to a vehicle. There is no footpath and pedestrians use the road. The potholes and uneven surface create a foreseeable risk of injury and damage.

Mill Lane flooded again 20/2/22 from Ashover Road junction towards Bateman’s Mill Hotel., 21st February
This road keeps flooding after moderate or heavy rainfall due to inadequate drainage facilities. The excess water then penetrates under the stone boundary wall of Brookfield Park causing severe flooding of private gardens and mobile homes. We have been suffering these floods for over four years. The Council is already well aware of this problem but no progress seems to have been made yet to solve it! My last enquiry said they were still “considering” the matter!!

Complete road up towards the top of hill., 8th July
Complete road has incidents of tge Road being covered in grit and sludge from rain. I almost lost control of my motorbike on it. Extremely dangerous. Both wheels slid from under me. Urgent attention needed.

No diversion, 10th February
This footpath runs through the farm it’s part of a network of paths through the farm. The occupants often tell people to walk around a different way, signs have been put up to put the footpath in a different way if there is a diversion it needs clearly marking with signs not A4 paper in a poly pocket.

Surface water drains blocked/road not swept, 19th December
The surface water drains, including the one close to the driveway for Common Bank House is blocked and have not been cleaned for several years. This causes rainwater to run down the street, exacerbating the problem with potholes. The street has also not had a roadsweeper along it for many years, leading to a build up of loose stones on the road (from the potholes).

Numerous Potholes now several feet in length, 19th December
Jetting Street now has potholes along its entire length, many several feet long and up to 4 inches deep. These have been here since the Spring, and now fill with water disguising the hazard to motorists and walkers. There is no pavement so walkers must use the road with the risk of tripping and injury, and damage to cars is now inevitable
