Several large potholes on this stretch of road which have been reported before. An attempted refill was done about 6 weeks ago which was an extremely poor job and now they are as bad as before. A child could have done a better job.

Deep potholes, 7th April
There are a number of potholes along road and the pothole repairs that have been done are shocking.when driving over them it is bump bump bump, all of these are causing damage to the vehicle's. I do know part of the cause is all the car have to drive on that side of the road because of parked cars.

Potholes Danger to cyclists and motorists in general, 18th March
The road has deteriorated on both sides. At least one cyclist has been dismounted in the last week. This section of road between the council yard (yep, amazing I know) and the railway bridge needs fixing asap.

Scaffolds and sign near junction, 9th March
A large scaffold is blocking the view from the right when entering the road from Wellhouse Lane. The result is that cars coming at 60mph are not visible until 20M from the junction. This is very dangerous. There is no purpose to the scaffold only advertising a generator company.

Keep Left bollards damaged and missing, 3rd March
The two keep left bollards are damaged and missing. Ore accurately , one has been missing for some time, the other has been ran over by an HGV it appears and is laid down. These bollards protect the pedestrian refuge island at the service road for the council depot and fire station. Vehicles have been seen emerging from the council depot on the wrong side of the road. Pedestrians at that stage crossing wouldn’t necessarily look left.

Street sign needs replacing, 2nd March
The “1-8 Valley View” steet sign which is affixed to the low wall on sheffield road , outside Valley View is seriously faded and needs replacing.
Not only is this essential for deliveries and courtiers. But also for emergency services too.
