Further degeneration of the road., 26th April
The whole of station road, the entrance to Thornbrook Gardens and Arundel road, and Commerce street, and the whole of the roundabout and the exits from that roundabout to Ecclesfield road and Cowley lane is full of pot holes and is crumbling. Driving over it dangerous for cars but for motor cycles and pedal cycles it is more so as other vehicles are swerving to avoid them. I have been reporting these for the last three months and it continues to get worse and worse. patching it is not working as it just comes out again. Driving over it all is causing my arthritis to flare and it is extremely painful at times and I have had one passenger that ended up being slammed into the side of my car because of the depth of the whole.

Caravan/Car parking on grass verge/path, 21st April
There is a caravan frequently parked on the grass verge and car on path on Foster Way in S35. I’m not aware that this is legal as it constantly blocks the view driving along as other drivers are not able to see other cars.

Road continues to crumble, 17th April
Station Road in Chapeltown has now reached new depths - literally with the subsurface clearly visible in places.
However, I could not get my hat on when I was the the bottom of Yew Lane and Stocks Hill in Ecclesfield, which aside from a few minor looking defects was being resurfaced! Really, a B road gets resurfaced, whilst a main A Road - A6135 looks more like , well, a farm track (apologies to farmers by the way) that a strategic road.
Come on SSC/Streets Ahead, get your head in the game and fix this dangerous highway once and for all, please!!!!

Van regularly blocking pavement almost completely., 14th April
My elderly Mother who uses a walking stick had to walk into the road to avoid this vehicle parked inconsiderately. They were subsequently almost hit by a vehicle travelling along the road. This vehicle is regularly parking around this spot on Willow Crescent. It is there just about every evening / night and at weekends. This has been occuring for a few months now. Something needs to be done before there is an accident. The driver responsible needs to consider other people, especially pedestrians.

A danger to all road users, 10th April
This area of Station Road is a deathtrap.
The road surface has failed. It has failed - no other words for it.
It is literally only a matter of time before some one is seriously injured, or worse on this joke of a road.
Is it lack of interest from SCC/Street Ahead? Negligence? Or the face this area and Lib Dem and Conservative representation that means the area is being punished. It has to be one of these three.
The road has been yellow paint marked twice with next to no action. What few "repairs" have been made have also failed. The roundabout at the Station Road/Cowley Lane junction is literally a joke - most of the material used when it was resurfaced and no left the area in the tread of tyres and there is no surface left on most of it.
We know these are forwarded to SSC/Street Ahead. Own the problem, fix it or when the inevitable happens expect the legal action that will certainly be coming your way. The evidence does not lie!
Stop stalling and just get the flipping work done.

Amey road repairs not fit for purpose, 9th April
Getting sick and tired of swerving to avoid potholes here. Major accidents will occur as there is clear and present danger to all road users. Most drivers i've spoken to say their concentrating more on looking for potholes than watching the road. How can Sheffield council accept this shoddy work from Amey??
