The double yellow lines are very faded!, 17th December
Bradwell Infant School uses this route to access their PE sessions in Bradwell Memorial Hall on two afternoons a week. Drivers think they can ignore the yellow lines which are not very visible, however this is causing safety issues for users of the pavements. Drivers seem to think they have the right to park here plus they are also parking half on the pavements/road which is making access impossible or dangerous for users!

Self set ash trees on lane up to New Nook Bradwell, 4th July
For the past five/six years I have reported that more than 40 self set ash and sycamore trees are growing on the verges of the narrow lane up to New Nook. These trees grow to enormous height and width and they are now badly encroaching onto the lane. The branches are marking passing vehicles and at the bottom of the lane are badly obstructing the left turn onto Jeffrey Lane - Top Hole Road. In fact it is impossible to see other vehicles approaching from the left (often at ridiculous speeds) until my car is halfway across the lane - an accident waiting to happen. If something is not done in the near future, this will become an enormous and expensive job for the Department -merely cutting them back is not the answer as they quickly grow back thicker than ever.

Fallen tree branches, 24th February
Sheffield bound side. A small tree has fallen and the branches extend a little way into the road. They need trimming back. It can be avoided in daylight, but when vehicles with headlights are coming in the opposite direction near the central road lines and it is dark it's almost invisible until you're upon it and you can't swerve if a car is on the other side of the road.
