Car always parked blocking access for larger vehicles., 11th April
Number 7 New Road Eyam is always parking one of their cars here. A ambulance or Fire Engine would have no chance of getting past. The drive leads down to Dales housing where my relative lives. The bins don't always get collected as the bin lorry can't get down.

Traffic due to filming, 26th April
Good Afternoon,
The traffic on high street due to people visiting the film set is already high.
Idiots driving on a single track road at speed and around blind corners. Theres are a lot of elderly people and families that live on high street and it is completely unacceptable.
The visitors are also stupid enough to park in the passing places. Causing the poor drivers not to have a clue what to do.
How is this going to be managed?

No Grit left, 11th February
The provision of Grit for the top section of Riley Lane is required beyond Riley Graves, I would suggest a pile to the right of the gate on the right and a second pile on the right of the path in Pretty Wood. The use of the lane is treacherous to all who use this popular route.

Deep potholes, 4th February
On the section of Riley Lane after the fork below Riley house, their are several deep potholes. This lane is used by 100s of school children (its on the national curriculum for schools in sheff and chesterfield), walkers, cyclist and cars. The pot holes when it has rained are covered in sitting water and this makes them a dangerous trip hazard for walkers, and dangerous for cyclist. the pot holes have been repaired several times but come back every year. It would seem that a longer term solution would be more cost effective in the longer term.

Marie., 4th February
Water has been running down the side of the lane (Riley Lane) due to poor management of the lane in the past. Large deep potholes down one side of the lane due to water erosion from this. The lane is now significantly narrowed in order to avoid the continuous pot holes that have formed. At one point the land at the outer edge of the road has slipped due to people driving over this because of the state of the road. It only leaves a very narrow route at this point which is dangerous for drivers as it makes them have to drive through the pot holes. Someone has put cones up to warn drivers of the narrowness of the road but his is not a long term solution. Parts of the lane have large dips and near the junction with Riley House the road has dipped down due to erosion. IF this slips this will be lethal to people driving up this lane. Top Riley has 3 holiday cottages, and the main house this would be cut off if the lane collapses. The issues with the lane have been ongoing for years, several bits have been patched but the issue of flowing water needs addressing in order to make this lane safe to drive on. The lane is literally been washed away.
