Flooding, 2nd April
Flooding on the public highway was fixed a year ago by the council by re-directing onto private land. This land is a paddock used for horses and has been left in an unusable state for the last year. It has left the land constantly saturated with water and is now a very deep and hazardous bog with toxic, stagnant water. This so called fix has been reported to the council on multiple occasions to which they have said will be revisited and altered, however, a year on and still nothing. The photos do not reveal the full extent, it is actually fast flowing water into this paddock which now needs resolving with immediate effect.

Overgrown hedge from allotments, 27th June
The hedge between the allotments and the lane is very overgrown. It is obscuring the 30 mph speed limit sign as you enter the village on a blind bend and also now the hedge is that high it will be obscuring the street lighting. There is no pavement on this lane and it is very busy with walkers and visitors to the Leger Lakes Tea Rooms. It's an accident waiting to happen and the whole hedge needs cutting back and down.
