Road surface seriously eroded, action required ASAP, 9th May
Reported initially on 1st Feb 2024, well over 3 months ago, FixMyStreet ref: 5519725. The carriageway is now disintegrating at a rapid rate, with approx. 40% - 50% of the 'new' road surface completely gone! Drivers turning left from Rother Valley Way onto the affected road surface on Owlthorpe Greenway are swerving & braking to avoid the worst of the potholes. Whichever Contractor carried out the initial resurfacing work should refund Sheffield Council...substandard materials must have been used...taxpayer's money wasted on a botched resurfacing contract?! This section of road is now more dangerous than before the work was done! Thanks

Over growing bushes, 7th May
Hi I have complained about these bushes before as they are coming through my fence and over my fence and they are prickly bushes .I live around 81 garland way. I've tried cutting off what I can reach , but I need someone to come and trim my side as its impossible for me . I've previously asked if these bushes can be taken out but at the time I think they said no because there were birds nesting in them . Its also ruining my fence

Shed taken down and dumped over the fence,from 9 walthham gardens into the Grizedale Avenue Open Space, 3rd May
The home owners have dismanled there shed and dumped it over the fence, this can be clearly seen due to the damage on the hedge top (see photos) You can also see from the google satalite view a structure in the bottom left corner of the garden (looking from the house) that is no longer there now.

Massive deep potholes in car park surface, 25th April
These potholes are huge and fill with water in wet weather. Makes it difficult to drive or cycle in the car park and it is a safety nightmare for wheelchair users and people with children in buggies. Please repair the potholes along the whole of the car park.

This small area is covered with glass and litter, the gennel has become a regular dumping ground for people's litter & the youths regularly smash bottles & urinate in there on a weekend.

Path needs clearing, 12th April
Have to report every year as this path never gets cleared despite leaf and debris build up throughout the autumn/winter which makes it impassable throughout this period due to sludge and slippy leaves. Needs road sweeper to clear as shovelling it into the side just means it blows straight back out or into all the adjoining properties to the path

Is this the worst section of a busy B road in Derbyshire?!, 8th April
After a short-lived 'patch up' last year, the 3 or 4 pre-existing small potholes have now converged & spread. The photo should say it all! Cars are swerving to avoid, sometimes into oncoming traffic...on a VERY BUSY 'B' ROAD! NB: Apparently "Derbyshire County Council doesn't currently accept Potholes reports from third party reporting sites such as FixMyStreet. We can make your report public, but we can't send it to that Council." Hopefully somebody from the Council will privately see this post, & send a Highways Inspector ASAP!!
