FIXMYSTREET IN S17 3LJ
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of S17 3LJ:
Large area in road sinking, 25th April
I have reported this matter on several occasions over the past 5 years. About 5 years ago Yorkshire water dug a large hole in the road on Whirlow Grange Avenue (50 yards from the junction with Ecclesall Road South). A couple of years later the whole area began to sink and after protracted correspondence the council informed me that it was a problem for Yorkshire Water - eventually it was dug up again and tarmac relaid BUT it is sinking again, but I see that somebody has chucked a couple of shovels of tarmac into part of the whole. I have also suspected that this is a sink hole created by an underground stream - evidenced by a wall on the south side of Ecclesall Road South which is also sinking. Please report this matter to Yorkshire water as it is getting dangerous. Thank you.

Pavement obstructed outside 77 Westwick Crescent, 17th April
Pavement is now fully obstructed by building materials and a [portable loo]. There is no signage or protection around it. The pavement is also thick with mud and a slipping hazard - it’s been like that since before Easter now, the builders are not rinsing it and even the recent heavy rain hasn’t cleared it.

Footpath in poor condition, 10th April
I would like to bring attention to the poor condition of the footpath along Greenhill Parkway. Mud and debris make it challenging to use, and there are loose paving slabs that pose a tripping risk.
