Large area in road sinking, 25th April
I have reported this matter on several occasions over the past 5 years. About 5 years ago Yorkshire water dug a large hole in the road on Whirlow Grange Avenue (50 yards from the junction with Ecclesall Road South). A couple of years later the whole area began to sink and after protracted correspondence the council informed me that it was a problem for Yorkshire Water - eventually it was dug up again and tarmac relaid BUT it is sinking again, but I see that somebody has chucked a couple of shovels of tarmac into part of the whole. I have also suspected that this is a sink hole created by an underground stream - evidenced by a wall on the south side of Ecclesall Road South which is also sinking. Please report this matter to Yorkshire water as it is getting dangerous. Thank you.

Overhanging trees and hedges narrowing road, 24th April
The hedges and trees on this section of quiet lane are forcing cars and vans into the middle of the road, which then causes conflict with oncoming traffic. Hedges etc need cutting back significantly.

Dangerous, deep ruts on road surface, 19th April
Hangingwater and Highcliffe Roads need completely re-surfacing. Time and time again they have been patched up only for another area to fail. Surely this is a false economy repeated patching up? It has been an on-going problem for over a year now. It is dangerous as not only have you to watch out for on coming cars while passing parked vehicles you now have to carefully manoeuvre and avoid the potholes and deep ruts Highly dangerous. I will be issuing Sheffield City Council with a bill due to damage to my car as I have reported this problem numerous times

Large and dangerous potholes middle of the road, 18th April
A number of large potholes in the middle of the junction make it impossible to avoid. Some drivers are swerving to avoid them and this has the potential to cause a serious accident. The potholes have been in this state for over 6 months.

Unused road signs blocking footpath, 14th April
Road Closed and Diversion signs have been left lying on the ground blocking the foot path causing pedestrians to have to walk around them. I think prams and wheelchairs are blocked completely

Large pot holes., 14th April
Large pot holes that fill with water and loose chipping from the loose road surface. (That are all over Hangingwater road and make unsafe driving surface in some areas). When cars drive through them the water and chippings splash and smash against the windows of the shop, and any people unlucky enough to be on the pavement. This is very dangerous as the asphalt chips fly out at great force.

Badger hit by car, 12th April
On evening dog walk saw taxi drive down road and stop, having hit something. Taxi driver was seen to kick animal and roll it to the side of road. When walked nearby I could see the animal was a badger and it is now lying on side of Greystones Road, it appeared to be dead.
