Dangerous carriageway surface, 26th January
Shaftesbury Road from Mere outskirts to county boundary has dangerous ridges and furrows, and also potholes. This problem has persisted and worsened over several years. It was reported direct to the Chief Executive at an Area Board Meeting in Mere at least two years ago, but nothing has been done! It is bad enough in a car, and really dangerous on a bicycle.

Road in very poor condition, 12th January
The Southbrook Road from its start to Limpers Hill has again large pot holes and mud from the developement on the north side of Southbrook. We are also getting large Lorries using this road as a by pass into the Town and to the Brush factory. It is now dangerous to walk from Limpers Hill into the Town.My maine concern is the poor condition of the Road Surface as the Whole of this section needs replacing.

Dangerous Potholes, 1st March
The road from Southbrook to Limpers Hill is now almost impassable due to deep potholes and ruts. This particular section has been the subject of many complaints over recent years.

Dangerous Road Condition, 20th February
I have reported the condition of the road in
Limpers Hill/Southbrook three times in the past three years.
The road is a danger to cyclist and pedestrians and also has cause damage to the suspension of cars.
I hope that this E-mail will bring a speedy conclusion to our problem.
