Located near centre line on A350 located next to and at end of pull-in. Is in lane outbound away from Shaftesbury and just before Semley Hill and opposite to pull-in that is on inbound lane towards Shaftesbury. Very long existing pothole has now eroded to become deep and dangerous in part of it.

Rocks in road on windy stretch coming into Shaftesbury from East Knoyle., 4th July
Rocks are ending up in the highway from the banks. Gabion basket looks damaged with rocks spilling out.

Bad repair, 16th December
There is a bad patch on the outside of the corner from a precious bad repair. As you drive over it with the outside left front it bangs over this repair, which has a pothole in the middle fo it.

Manhole/drain covered raised up, 25th July
Drain cover seemed to have raised up off the road causing an obstruction at a point on the road where there was a single white line in the middle.of the road making it difficult for cars to swerve to avoid. Would lacerate tyres if driven over with potential to cause accident

Deep pothole in road going down Hart hill , near top, 5th March
On n/s of road unable to see in dark and avoid. I was in a line of cars none a which could have avoided this pothole. It was about 20.00hrs. Road was,wet but not raining

Potholes on Tokes Lane, 3rd April
The whole of Tokes Lane is a disaster. Potholes all the way. One of my neighbours had a flat tire last week. I could take a 100 photo's, where to start?

Uneven road and potholed, 22nd November
The road is peppered with potholes all the way up but most disturbingly is the road is heavily worn to the left and right to the extent that I cannot drive up or down the road without scraping my exhaust unless I drive with one wheel on the dirt by the side of the road, this is also getting very worn as everyone seems to be doing the same thing, my car is not lowered and my wife and daughters also have the same issue with their vehicles, my daughter ripped off her exhaust this week which is why I feel this should be repaired. The road is a single track road so there is no way of avoiding this without driving on the dirt.

Bad potholes on A350 between Shaftesbury and Semley, 17th October
There is a really bad pothole on the A350 as you travel north between Shaftesbury and Semley as you go down the hill. The bad one is as you go down the hill by a drain cover. There is another one just before that but not as bad.

Pothole and side of road collapsing, 22nd March
The pin shows location of a big pothole and collapse of side of road. However there are now many potholes along length of road.
Some fill with water and are undetectable. A motor scooter uses this lane and would no doubt crash if it drove into one. If such an incident occured this report will be used as a basis for a claim for any damages.
The reporter has recently received a puncture driving up this lane. If in future he experiences another puncture, this report will be used as a basis to make a claim for damages.

Road surface, 7th March
Marker position is in middle of road but problems are for its entire length.
Sem Hill is a paved public highway but now has so many potholes running its length, most of which are full of water, it is impossible to drive along it without jarring down them. The road has been neglected for some time and is long oversue for some maintenance.
