Neighbour pumping water onto main road, 3rd January
Location: road B3901, between Nail Cottage & Pump Cottage SP7 0LL Water is pumped straight onto the main road in the ‘breaking zone’ of a set of corners which have seen mainly accidents over the years. The water from the pump is running down the road creating potholes and a permanent puddle, with the excess water filling the drain then flooding my front garden.

Recurrent potholes and surface water between Twyford Farm and Haygrove Honey Farm, drain boxes damaged in recent drain clearance opposite post box in Twyford Farm wall and below drive to Haygrove, 29th March
Recent mechanical roadside drain clearing has torn away part of the concrete cover of the drain boxes not covered by the drain grid leaving a large void through which soil can wash into the drain, in addition the hole opposite Twyford farm is large enough for someone stepping backwards to avoid oncoming traffic could break their ankle.

Persistent flooding, 4th January
Every winter the road floods to the point where it is dangerous and causes damage to vehicles. Last week a car rolled over here after aquaplaning on the flood. Attempts have been made to fix the problem but it has made no difference whatsoever. Please can the problem be sorted before someone is seriously injured or worse?

Regular flooding and associated pot holes, 20th January
Section of the road has regularly flooded for years causing damage to numerous vehicles (see large amounts of vehicle debris on road). Flooding occurs throughout the autumn and winter, even when after moderate amounts of rain. Warning signs are rarely put up meaning vehicles unfamiliar with the area often hit the flooded area unprepared. Significant work was done to alleviate the problem last year but has made no problems. No obvious water source other than a manhole cover. Suggestions: Drain under the road and ditch to move water away or raise the road surface at the sides to make the road level and assist drainage Can't be that difficult to resolve due to the lie of the land in this area.
